Challenge

Thurgau Tourism needed a quick boost in the number of leads and newsletter signups so they could promote their seasonal offerings in a cost-effective and straightforward manner. Furthermore, the goal was to further boost the already good newsletter open and click-through rates.

Solution

Thurgau Tourism used Brame’s Software-as-a-Service solution and created an entertaining Advent calendar within a very short time. The prizes were provided by a different partner each day. This way, the tool was refinanced and the partners were additionally offered an innovative platform to generate leads. The campaign was mainly promoted on social media and via the newsletter.

Result

Compared to static lead campaigns in the past, the cost per lead was reduced by more than 50%. Through purely organic promotion, the tourism organization recorded over 100,000 visitors within 3 weeks, with an average return rate of 14 out of a possible 24 days. Furthermore, the newsletter open rate was increased by more than 12% and the unsubscribe rate was reduced by more than 90%.
